ADOBONG BATONG / ADOBO STRING BEANS

Ingredients
2 tablespoons coconut oil ( LCIF practitioner)
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 medium onion, chopped
1 kl pork belly (cubes style of cut)
1/2 tsp. salt (Himalayan Salt)
1/2 cup water
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 kl string beans
Salt and Pepper
3 tablespoons vinegar (Apple Cider for LCIF practitioner


Procedure
1. Sautee garlic and onions for 2 minutes.
2.  Add pork and cook until firm and brown
3.  Add water and ½ tsp salt, bring to a boil.
4. Simmer until pork pieces are tender.
5. Add soy sauce, vinegar and chopped string beans (batong). 
6. Cover and simmer for 3 minutes.
7. Adjust taste for your preference. You can add pepper and additional salt.
8. Serve hot and enjoy.

Healthy tip: Partnered the dish with 2 boiled eggs instead of rice.
